INSPIRATION FROM SMALL TRADERS LIKE HAWKERS
Every so often i encounter an individual who has given up on something after getting involved in it for just a few days or months.
Am always left wondering, what do they think works in just a few days or a few months!!!! Nothing. We have Rich sources of inspiration but most of us young people turn a deaf ear to all the sources.
Personally,Hawkers are a huge source inspiration. Especially those hawking in traffic jams in Nairobi. A times they walk into a BUS full of over 50 passengers to sell sweets and chewing gums, they make no sale and walk out of the matatu to the next one smiling. Do they give up, NOO.
They don’t even think of doing so.
If your product/service/opportunity costs thousands and you expect to sell to every single prospect, then my dear brother or sister you got it wrong.
Numbers never lie. If 50people (in a matatu) sometimes fail to buy some chewing gum worth ksh 5, then 100 people would also fail to purchase a product worth ksh 2,000 keeping all other factors constant.
Life is that unfair and nothing is changing any time soon. It was unfair 2,000 yrs ago and it will be 2,000 yrs to come.Nothing is changing lets face it people.
Get in there, persevere, be persistent, be patient, work hard and finally and more importantly, Learn the rules of the game and play better than everyone else.
Very Encouraging
