HOW TO SURVIVE THIS HARD ECONOMIC TIMES
THE COST OF LIVING IS RISING DAILY, the only way around it is building your own economy, this is expected to get worse with time. The time to secure your future is now. Many kenyans are embracing technology and making a fortune online. One of such people is Pauline, who is now enjoying the life of her dreams after a few years in the digital space,be inspired!
101% focus, consistency, Discipline and goal setting are crucial ingredients of success in life. Since my childhood I have always admired successful people living the life of their dreams in this same country that most citizens complain about.
Everytime I saw a lady on the road driving their own car, I literally stoped and stared at them feeling really good and wished to have mine when I grew up. Just like every other kid from an average family, I successfully completed my primary and high school education. Before joining college, I had a chance to visit a close family member in Nairobi just to experience City life. After a few days of being indoors and watching movies day and night, I got tired of it and decided to look for a job. After several days knocking on different doors,my prayers were answered.I got a job as an mpesa agent shop attendant earning me a salary of kshs. 6,000 monthly. I was happy that I was making some money of my own but that amount would barely get me to the middle of the month. I couldn’t even afford a new dress with the income. I however persisted to get the much needed experience and earn a living knowing very well there were better ways out there.
After several months, I decided to further my studies as that was the only way I knew to increase my income and live my dream. I therefore joined college to study procurement and logistics.I had no option but to depend on my parent’s support fully. That would not last long as I had learnt how to be self reliant since I left high school.
After only a few months in school, I needed to figure out a way. I was so broke.I also got tired of bothering my parents asking for money every now and then. The only option was to get something I can do on the side part-time as I persue my course.
One day while on Facebook scrolling through my newsfeed, I came across something that caught my attention. There was a post about working online on a part-time or full-time basis and no previous experience was required. Very excited, I took the number and the rest is history. I found a Kenyan platform that promised to pay me kshs 5,000 working part-time. I had a sigh of relief knowing my life was about to change for the better.
One year down the line, I realized that the program was paying me more than I anticipated and at that point I would sometimes pay my own school fees. I could manage to pay 30,000 every sester plus take care of my upkeep while still working part-time.I was happy with the progress. I took it serious and within no time, my income doubled. Before graduating, I was earning an average of 100,000 per month and I became unstoppable.
After my graduation, I made a decision to take online marketing as my new career and it became my full time job.I now hsd enough time to work sometimes from home but mostly from the head offices in Nairobi CBD.
In just 3yrs,I have managed to achieve a lot, among them a brand new car , a Subaru G4 all black in the midst of a pandemic that left most people jobless and those with jobs getting huge pay cuts.I thank God for directing me here. I can’t imagine life without this opportunity.
People always wonder why I chose Online Work over my Supply chain management Career .
it’s Freedom For me.
I hate being bossed around. Being told what to do from Monday to Saturday, January to December, years after years.Instead, I want to be my own boss where I’ll choose my working hours and write my own cheque.
I hate being stuck in traffic especially on a rainy Monday morning.
I’m after financial freedom as well, I want to compress my working years, the goal is to retire young and rich and help many others do the same coz I believe the big cars, awesome holidays, Big houses and high end estates are not a reserve for the few but for us all.
If Global wealth was to be decided amongst the world population, everyone would have ksh 3,500,000.This would afford us all a decent house and a car. Unfortunately that will never happen, we have to claim it, YOU have to claim your share.
Bill Gates once said, “If you were born poor, it’s not your fault. But if you die poor it’s your mistake…”
This always inspires me to work harder.
Kindly note that I am not sharing my story to brag but to inspire someone out here who’s desperately looking for an opportunity that can change their fortunes for good, we have an opportunity for you. If we’re doing it you can do it too. The good thing is anyone can do it, either on a full-time or part-time basis (No previous experience required since professional training will be offered) You just need to create time for trainings.
I Hope YOU ARE INSPIRED TO DREAM. That’s the purpose for doing this. To remind you that it’s possible for you too.
